THE NICK HOLAPPA FOUNDATION
Building a future where no veteran faces the battle for mental health alone.
Mission Statement
"Our mission is to ensure veterans experiencing PTSD and other mental-health challenges have access to the care they need by funding therapy services and supporting research that advances effective treatment."
Our Mission
The Nick Holappa Foundation was born from a belief that the bravest among us should never face their toughest battles alone. We provide accessible, stigma-free mental health support tailored to the unique experiences of those who served.
Named in honor of Nick Holappa, whose courage and spirit continue to inspire our work, this foundation is a living testament to the power of community, compassion, and unwavering commitment to veteran well-being.

In Memoriam
Nick Holappa was more than a veteran — he was a son, a friend, a protector, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. The kind of person who walked into a room and made it feel safer, who listened before he spoke, who carried the weight of others without ever asking for the same in return.
He served his country with quiet conviction, carrying the weight of duty with a grace that made others feel seen. After returning home, Nick faced the invisible battles that so many veterans carry in silence — battles that don't end when the uniform comes off, that follow you into quiet rooms and sleepless nights, that ask questions no one should have to answer alone.
Nick's story is one shared by hundreds of thousands of veterans across this country — brave men and women who gave everything and returned to find that the support they needed simply wasn't there. He navigated the complexities of post-service life with courage, seeking connection and purpose in a world that did not always understand the depth of what he had experienced.
His memory is the reason this foundation exists. His name is the standard we hold ourselves to. The Nick Holappa Foundation is our promise to him, and to every veteran who follows: you will not walk this road alone. We will build the bridges. We will fund the care. We will carry this forward — not in his name alone, but in his spirit.
